Wet Felting for Beginners
Wet felting is a process used to make wool and soapy water in to the dense fabric know as felt.

You can experiment with lots of different colours of wool but also incorporate a range of silks to give you a differnt dimension.

Wet Felting with Free Motion
Wet felting is a process used to make wool and soapy water into the dense fabric known as felt.

Once you have made your felt piece, you will be able to use free motion embroidery to embelish your picture.

Duration: 4 hrs / Session

 

Weekends only

 

Level: Complete Beginners

Couching
Couching is a fun and intricate way to embellish your clothes, bags, cushion covers or even your quilts.
 
Learn how to use strands of wool and embroidery thread creating the most wonderful designs.

£32 per block (materials included)

Embellisher

Create a mini landscape with a felting machine using threads, wool and fabric scraps

Textile Weekend

The weekend textile course in Tilgate Park, Crawley consists of the following textile techniques: Shibori, machine needle punching embellisher, free motion, using various textures of threads, wool, fabrics and fibres.

 

Bring along a landscape picture and by using all these methods and techniques you will start creating your very own quilt art.
